We are a private group home for developmentally delayed individuals offering innovative long-term residential services. Committed to providing a safe and supportive environment where individuals are encouraged to explore and discover their full potential within a nurturing homelike country setting. An innovative long-term housing solution geared toward medium to high functioning individuals who have a primary diagnosis of developmental disability. Country Haven Acres provides an extensive, supportive program which is committed to involving family and other service providers in order to formulate an innovative residential program for individuals with special needs. It will increase their options, decrease social isolation and establish a network of peers and social support. Ultimately, participants will explore their strengths, develop their life skills and establish meaningful connections within the local community. Our supervised residential services are designed to enhance life-skills and self-efficacy. Counselors provide caring support, supervision and guidance as activities and programs are tailored to the individuals’ and to the group’s needs and interests.
