Partners in Parenting Special Needs Foster Care program, supports children and youth that can fit into a family setting. Our goal is to recruit, train and support foster families t0 provide a high level of care to children and youth who demonstrate behaviourall, developmental and/or physical needs requiring significant levels of direct care support. Foster parents have regular and ongoing training, each foster home is assigned a Foster Family support worker and our program offers in-home staffing support of up to 15 hrs/week per child. Staff are trained professionals in the special services field and provide a variety of duties assisting foster families in caring for children with special needs.

Partners in Parenting Spartan Grove Residence is a licensed Children's Residence that supports children from newborn to age 18+ with a variety of severe disabilities and medical conditions as well as Complex Special Needs children and youth. This home is staffed 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The children that are placed at Spartan Grove Residence have medical needs or behavioural needs that require the expertise of qualified staff.
The children/youth may have Acquired Brain Injury, medical issues, require palliative support, require suctioning, chest care, oxygen support, enteral tube feeding, have seizure disorders and have a variety of physical and developmental disabilities including Autism. The staff are well trained in lifting and positioning, medication administration, g tube feedings, chest care, suctioning and all aspects of daily care and behaviour management. All staff are CPI trained, First aid and CPR trained, WHIMIS Trained, Fire safety trained. The staff provide quality care and ensure hat the children and youth have activities and social interactions that are age appropriate.

Partners in Parenting Supported Living Program offers 5 homes in the Ottawa area is that support youth and adults on a long term basis in small group care settings. Providing an environment where adults can make choices and have support is paramount. Staff support these homes and work with clients and their families to have meaningful lives within the community. Education, work, activities and networks are an integral part of this program. Clients range from indivduals with Autism, mental health, dula diagnosia, to physical and developmental disabilities.

Partners in Parenting Day Services offers a day program for adults with developmental disabilities Monday-Friday from 8:30-3:00. The program offers recreational activities, social skills development, educational programming, sensory stimulation, lifeskills, community based outings, volunteer work placements, music program, yoga, theme days. The day program also offers a summer day camp program for 7 weeks every summer.
