Adele’s hopes in fostering are to provide a safe and loving home, like she had, where gifts and talents are explored and encouraged.  Spending quality time with each child, figuring out what makes them who they are, and building trust through consistency and routines are a part of how Adele works with her foster children.  They are accepted because they “are”, they exist, and need so much to be shown and told that they are loved.  All children have their own experiences which have contributed to who they are, interests that motivate them and ambitions for their lives.  It takes some time to uncover these, but they will surface in time when they are ready.
