Bayfield's Family Based Care Program has been designed to meet the needs of children and youth up to ages 25 who are making the transition to community living with the continued support of Bayfield's clinical services, psychiatric monitoring and private school.  Bayfield's Family Based Programs help children and youth discover their full potential in all aspects of life while they learn to appreciate and respect one another.  FBC operators are skilled in child therapy techniques and must complete Bayfield's competency training.  All family based care homes require a home study and meet all Ministry standards.  Bayfield provides two models of Family Based Care Homes.  A parent modeled with staff support and a parent modeled without staff support.
