Key Assets a part of The Core Assets Group of Companies, is an independent fostering agency established to provide quality care in a family setting to children and young people who are "hard to place" or have complex needs. The vision, aims and principles driven from the founding directors are child-centered and recognize that looked after children and youth deserve a better chance at achieving successful outcomes, while foster carers need to receive greater financial compensation, recognition and comprehensive support.
The Key Assets delivery model is based upon an organizational ethos called 'Team Parenting™'. This has been tailored to operate in several countries and provides a holistic and systemic approach to supporting each child and carer. Our vision is to make a positive and lasting difference to the lives of the children and youth around the world.
Key Assets recruits carers with varying backgrounds and experience to work as part of a close team that provides specialized family placements to children and youth. Key Assets carers provide short, medium and long term care to children aged 0-18 years old.
Key Assets takes a flexible approach to working with the child, carer and the Provincial Child Welfare Authority to provide resources and support that best fits the needs of each child. The agency is child focused, supportive of its carers (and their families) and professional in its approach.
